well yet another busy week. It was my son's pirate party last weekend which was fun if noisy but we had a great time. I'm busy planning for a fairy party on Saturday but we also have a stand at Sparkle's Fairy Festival, this weekend. The event is at Groombridge Place, Tunbridge Wells on both Saturday and Sunday, the will be stilt walkers, fire spinning, face painting, children's workshops, fairy market and of course fairies galore.
My lovely husband is going to be running the stall on Saturday and I will be there on Sunday so do come along and browse our fairy goodies.

Surrey County Show
Well another event another soaked fairy! Having travelled to Guilford on the Sunday to set up our fairy grottos, we awoke Monday morning to heavy rain and wind. I w
as very anxious whether our grotto would have stayed up, thankfully when we arrived on site it was standing unlike alot of others!

disheartned Sapphire suggested we try to move trading spots to inside the shopping marquee. A very wise choice, despite the fact that even that was leaking we did manage to set out our fairy stock and sell lots of tutus and other fairy essentials to the customers brave enough to venture out on a horrible bank holiday Monday.

Essex Food Fair
Another busy weekend over. We had a 5th Fairy Birthday party for the lovely Amy on Saturday afternoon, unfortnately the weather was horrible but we still managed to put up our fairy grotto inside so the party was a fun and magical event with some lovely polite little fairies which is always nice.
Sunday we were due at the Essex Food Fair, so we set off with the kids (my mum had been due to babysit but had been taken poorly) and the fairy grotto and as many fairy craft bits as I could squeeze in the car. This lead to a fairly stressful start to the 
day but at least the sun was shining. We set up our pitch and although this event is really nice and the people that organise it are lovely we had a very quiet day. I did however manage to get some lovely photos in the walled garden.

We are now busy preparing for our next event the Surrey County Show at Guildford on bank holiday Monday 26th May. No rest for these fairies!Some of the lovely fairies who visited our grotto;

ELF FANTASY FAIR
Well we have arrived back from Holland having attended the Elf Fantasy Fair. This was a fantastic event covering a great variety of fantasy and gothic themes. It was set in the stunning grounds of the Castle de Haag near Utrecht.
Fairy Finesse had a stall selling our fairy wings, tutus, wands, dresses and other magical clothing. Having travelled all the way there loaded up with fairy goodies plus three kids and my ever tolerant husband I was slightly apprehensive as to whether it was a good idea on my part. However we did really well selling loads of wings to some lovely people. Sales surpassed my expectations so I was a very happy fairy.
The whole event had a lovely feel to it and the people couldn't of been friendlier despite my appalling lack of dutch.
I now have the busy task of making loads more wings for the upcoming festivals in this country I just need a little sprinkling of fairy magic to give me more time.

2008 A Fairy Filled Year
Well already the year is off to a flying start. I have been busy designing new wings, some really lovely ones in new shapes/fabrics and techniques. I have also been working on new longer length fairy tutus and a new mermaid tutu. I am also hoping to be able to launch a new range of fairy headdresses this year although even with some magic from the fairies these are not working out just yet!
I have already started applying for stalls at various festivals and events. We shall once again be attending the balloon and kite festival in Chelmsford in September. I am hoping to attend a very large mystical event abroad in April but have yet to have confirmation so will hopefully be able to confirm very soon.
We have applied for a magical kingdom pitch at the 3 Wishes Faery Fest in Cornwall in June. July is earmarked for us to hopefully attend a large music festival but have not heard if we have been accepted to trade yet so can't release these details.
Other events will be added as soon as possible but if you know of a suitable event for the fairies to visit please do shout...
